in.version

You’re at a party.

You enjoy the people there well enough. Talking to fellow partygoers seems to help the time pass by more quickly, even if the conversation sometimes feels a bit menial and repetitive.

You feel an obligation to stay until the end of the party, and you know that you won’t make it without getting away from everyone else so that you can just have a moment to breathe and regain some energy.

In.version was designed to capture the feeling of being a social introvert—the feeling of wanting to be there, participate, and enjoy people’s company, while simultaneously having little social energy. It’s a difficult balance, but gets easier once you grow to understand your own needs, and can learn how to embrace a moment alone when the opportunity presents itself.
